
My baseline flow test (after his work was performed) showed that there was a big turbulence issue!
I don't think I have ever heard a head sound so bad on my bench before? Around .650 lift it falls on its face hard, not good since he wants to run a camshaft around .750 - .800 lift. Most of this particular issue was in the short side radius which had some big ledges below the seat:
I layed it back some and widened the window to correct the issue:

Followed by some hand blending:

Smoothed the bowls the rest of the way:

I retained the stock valve job in it due to his funds. I know there is some left on the table because of the throat %. I did do some backcuts on the intake valves which showed big gains! I also unshrouded the valves from the chamber wall. It is more of an issue on the exhaust side of these heads:

Really good gains for the minimal work I did to them. I still feel there is alot left in them. We will see when time comes to freshen them up.
